Female friends often go shopping together, get coffee and talk about their kids. But what about getting plastic surgery together? Christi Lukasiak and Jill Vertes, from the reality TV show Dance Moms, did just that earlier this year. These female companions had dual laser liposuction procedures to address areas of their bodies they were insecure about in public.

Christi’s Story

Christi, 40 years old and a mother of two, had already lost 50 lbs. by traditional means. The weight loss left her with uneven body proportions, loose skin and localized pockets of fat on her abdominal region resistant to diet and exercise. She set up an appointment with a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon for AirSculpt. This is a procedure that uses air pressure to eliminate fat through a small 2mm incision. “I am getting a little bit older and I’ve had two children and I just felt like it was something I wanted to do for myself,” she stated to People Magazine. “I had c-sections with both of my children, and I recently lost some weight, and I still was having issues losing weight in that area. It seemed like a good fit for me at this point in my life.” When Lukasiak told Vertes about her plan to have AirSculpt, Vertes decided to have the procedure as well.

Jill’s Story

Jill told People, “I’m 51 years old and I’ve had three children, and I spent a lot of time over the last six years traveling and living out of apartments and hotel rooms, so my eating habits have been crazy.” She continued to say, “I’ve gained weight, and I haven’t been on a schedule where I could exercise. My body got out of control. When I heard that there was a non-invasive (lipo) way to contour certain parts of your body, I was all in. I almost didn’t believe it! But I just thought, I’m at an age and I just haven’t been disciplined with my body, so if I could cheat a little, I was going to do it.”

Their Results

The ladies had AirSculpt procedures on their waistline and back. They were pleased with the procedure and are enjoying the results. “I’ve probably lost close to four inches around my waistline,” Vertes stated. “That’s a lot because I’m only 5’3″! I’m looking forward to feeling good in shorts and a bathing suit, and just feeling younger.” Lukasiak followed with, “I am looking forward to just not having to wear Spanx all the time! It was probably one of the easiest things I’ve done, and I’m really happy I did it.”
